Sorry, I’ve been like super MIA lately. But I’m back, I swear. So here’s what I’ve been doing lately:

-hanging out with hockey players that are too nice (but are really just fuckboys)

-working

– doing college

-hanging out with frats

-getting drunk and dancing on tables

-getting drunk and jamming to T Swift

– doing the last two simultaneously while doing shots

-hanging out with my dog

-arguing with my mom

-arguing with my husband

-arguing with my old roommate

-oh ya I kicked out one of my roommates

-and stole her grass rug

– eating? (I’ll explain later)

10 Things I’m Obsessed With Right Now

10. I had this really good coke the other day and I don’t know who gave it to me but I’ve decided I’m obsessed with it until I find it again.
9. The Baker Hotel in Mineral Wells, Tx. It’s supposed to be haunted and there’s a lake/park near by so I think a camping adventure is to take place soon.

8. I’m still craving Taylor Swift majorly even though everyone else has moved on to Beyoncé.

6. I went to this little hibachi/sushi bar in Dallas last week while adventuring and I fell in love. I had a drink called Hello Kitty and it tasted like vodka with sugar.

How To Be Cute While Adventuring

Now I understand that sometimes it gets really hard to get really dressed up and cute for every random adventure you go on in the summer. I mean you never know if you’re going to need to be dressed up for a fancy dinner at an overly expensive Hibachi restaurant or if you’re about to have your feet in the sand while climbing on to an abandoned tractor in the middle of a secluded lake.

So first things first, you need two bags total. One is going to be a nicer leather bag that will easily fit a cute pair of wedges, sunglasses, the matching wallet and cosmetics. The second is a vintage looking backpack and it’s going to hold your swim suit and sandals and a beachtowel/blanket. Lets start with the first bag, I suggest this one from Forever 21. It’ll hold everything you need for a day time adventure. And then a classier night time adventure, you need a cross-body bag. I like this leather one from Aldo, its black leather, has a drawstring and can go from cross-body to handbag if you want.

Next is what you need to pack in each bag. Obviously you need a cute bikini to go with any random water activities or tanning opportunities. I suggest this one from Victoria’s Secret or this one from H&M. And then you need a good pair of sunnies, I really like these from Aldo. Then you need a good beach blanket. I really like these Fresco Beach blankets, I am in love with them. And then you need shoes. I suggest a good pair of sandals and then a good pair of wedges. It’ll be easy to swap them out with your outfit depending on what your current adventure turns in to. I really like these sandals from Macy’s and these wedges from Charlotte Russe. I like them because they’re practical, cute and have a beachy vibe.

Next are actual outfits. I’m thinking that one pieces as in dresses and rompers are totally in this summer. One, because I don’t like wearing pants and two, I think crop tops and high waisted shorts are trashy and should have never been a thing. So here’s my favorite picks of dresses and rompers.

This one is easy to move around in and has a comfortable feel to it. It comes in several prints like Dirty Daisy.

2. Coco Crepe Playsuit

I like this one because of the indigo pattern and the fabric. I love wearing it because its dressy but playful.

3. Paisley Tunic Dress

I feel like this is perfect to wear to almost any adventure. It has a very positive vibe to it.

4. Loose Knit Romper

This one could go with anything and anywhere. It’s simple and easy.

5. Boho Maxi

Everyone needs one. It’s like an ultimate summer must have.
